I hate drawing wings, sometimes.  Lovely things, but man can they be irritating sometimes.  The wrong tool is a nightmare, too, but at least that's not quite /as/ bad.  There's still quite a ways to go, but things are already looking up.  Now, if I could just fix my hand...

So, after several years (and no small amount of gentle [and perhaps not-so-gentle] nudging), I find myself on DeviantArt.  I've been doodling and drawing for several years, but thanks to a lack of a scanner and a thinning patience with a mouse, I wasn't able to show some of my better works online.  After moves robbed me of several of the originals, I decided I would eventually take a crack at going digital...as soon as I could find an affordable tablet.  Far too many years later, enter my foray into digital art.  While I'm nowhere near the skill of many of those I admire, it's not daring if one doesn't throw themselves out into the proverbial
